Kim Koro ʼ86 (JD), a distinguished member of the University of San Diego (USD) Board of Trustees and Law School Board of Visitors, has been recognized as one of the 2024 Top 100 Women in Technology by Technology Magazine. This prestigious list honors influential leaders and pioneers in the tech industry who are driving innovation, investment, and supporting underrepresented groups.
With over three decades of experience at Qualcomm, Inc., Koro currently serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV). In this role, she works closely with government agencies at all levels to leverage commercial wireless technology advancements for mission performance improvements. Her leadership is focused on fostering innovation in public-private partnerships and ensuring that the U.S. Government stays ahead of the curve with the latest wireless technologies.
Koro’s work with QGOV involves collaborating with the U.S. Government on projects related to advanced connectivity, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and edge computing. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Koro is actively involved in the USD community. She was awarded the USD School of Law’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2020 and, along with her husband, established endowed scholarships to support law students with financial need and exceptional character.
