Amazon’s Prime Video is set to launch the sequel series, Betty la Fea, the Story Continues, on July 19 in over 240 countries worldwide. The new series will follow the story of Beatriz Pinzón Solano 20 years after the original show.

Fans can expect to see their favorite characters back again, with Ana María Orozco reprising her role as Betty and other returning cast members such as Jorge Enrique Abello, Julian Arango, and Natalia Ramírez. Additionally, Rodrigo Candamil, Juanita Molin, Zharick León and Sebastián Osorio have joined the cast for this highly anticipated show.

Originally created by Fernando Gaitán and dubbed into 15 languages across 180 countries, Yo soy Betty la Fea has been a global success. The show was adapted in 28 territories including India, South Africa and the U.S., following its original run that lasted from 2001 to 2003. RCN Estudios produced both the original telenovela and its sequel series in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video for this new venture.
