Samsung’s virtual influencer, SAM, debuts new musical theme at Latin American music festivals

Samsung has debuted a new song titled “Simple, Así” at four major music festivals in Latin America in March. The song showcases the features of Galaxy AI, Photo Assist, Live Translate, and Circle to Search with Google, all integrated into the new Galaxy S24 series.

As the official sponsor of Lollapalooza Brazil and Argentina in 2024, as well as the Estéreo Picnic festival in Colombia and Asunciónico in Paraguay, Samsung presented the song performed by digital influencer SAM. The new track highlights the capabilities of Galaxy AI technology in the Galaxy S24 series, making tasks such as editing photos, searching for objects in videos, and translating calls into multiple languages more straightforward.

To connect with younger audiences, Samsung has also decided to showcase an exclusive choreography of the song on its social media platforms. This strategy is part of Samsung’s efforts to engage with younger generations in an authentic way.

Arthur Wong, senior director of Samsung for Latin America, stated: “Samsung wants to connect with young people in a meaningful way. We are releasing a new song that will resonate with our audience while taking advantage of our presence at these important cultural events in the region to promote this melody.”
