The qualifier for the World Olympic Games will take place in Istanbul, Turkey from May 9th to 12th. The top three wrestlers at each weight category will secure automatic qualification for their respective countries to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Team USA will be represented by five wrestlers: Spencer Lee (57 kg), Zain Retherford (65 kg), Dalton Roberts (60 kg), Ellis Coleman (67 kg), and Kamal Bey (77 kg).
The tournament will feature competitions in men’s freestyle at 57 kg, 65 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, and 125 kg, as well as Greco-Roman at 60 kg, 67 kg, and 130 kg. Women’s freestyle categories include 50 kg, 53 kg, and 68 kg.
