South Philadelphia Sports Complex hosting WWE event this weekend

Michael Sulkes, the General Manager of the Wells Fargo Center, has always been a lifelong fan of the WWE. He was just 13 years old when he attended WrestleMania XV at the Wells Fargo Center in 1999, and the experience left him with an unforgettable impression of the event.

Years have passed since then, and the WWE has evolved significantly. The event now outgrows arenas and is held across multiple nights at different venues. This growth is evident in how the WWE has expanded to three sold-out events at the Wells Fargo Center and its surrounding areas.

Despite attending WrestleMania XV 25 years ago, Michael Sulkes is still filled with excitement for the upcoming shows at the Wells Fargo Center as part of WrestleMania weekend. With approximately 17,000 people expected to attend each show, arena President Phil Lawes estimates that about 6,000 fans have purchased tickets for all three events.

Sulkes believes that the WWE Universe descending upon Philadelphia for the weekend shows will make a significant impact on the city. He believes that this event will showcase just how big of a deal
