Vidya Rao, who previously held the position of chief information officer at Genpact, has been promoted to the role of chief technology and transformation officer. In her new role, she will focus on establishing a robust data office to enhance Genpact’s data capabilities. This was reported in the media.
In addition to Rao’s promotion, Vipin Gairola has also been appointed as the global operating officer at Genpact. His new responsibilities will involve overseeing global client operations, analytics, data, and technology initiatives.
Rao began her career at Blue Chip Computer Consultants and has held various positions at Infosys, Wipro, Cambridge Technology Partners, Accenture and Micro Focus. She brings extensive experience in technology leadership to her new role at Genpact.
