The construction of a new engineering and science building at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio has been secured by Turner Construction and its consortium partners. This 189,000 sq ft facility will be the first new research structure at the university in over twenty years and will house wet labs, dry labs, and other research spaces.

The fully American team, consisting of Adrian Maldonado & Associates, Next Generation Construction, and the AKA Team, in addition to Turner Construction, will be working together on this project. With an estimated cost of $300 million, the project will cover design, equipment, and relocation work.

Adrian Maldonado, president of Adrian Maldonado & Associates, expressed excitement about the project stating “This cutting-edge facility will further showcase the university’s standing throughout the country in the study of science and engineering.” The completion of the building is scheduled for 2026.
