Students from Thomas College received awards at a business conference.

Recently, five Thomas College students participated in the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) International Business Conference held in Orlando, Florida. The students included Dan Brewer, Tanner Herrick, Jade Crowell, Preston Moody, and Addison Landon.

At the conference, Thomas College students excelled in various categories. The team as a whole placed second overall and third in the case study presentation. Additionally, three students – Preston Moody, Jade Crowell, and Addison Landon – advanced to the finals of the Knowledge Bowl. Landon shone brightly, finishing in second place in this competition. He was also recognized as the top individual student performer at the conference.

The challenges were intense with a record number of colleges submitting student teams to the conference. Dr. Saucier mentioned that representatives from SAM praised the exceptional performance of Thomas College students. The college is gaining recognition in business management academic circles for its excellence in competitions like these. This marks the seventh consecutive year that Thomas College students have achieved success in the SAM competition. Stay tuned for more upcoming area events!
