The Texas Rangers and Bally Sports Southwest have come to an agreement to broadcast both home and away games. As part of this agreement, Bally Sports Southwest will be airing a total of 153 regular season games as well as four spring training games, with the first spring training game scheduled to air on March 14.
In recent news, it was reported that Diamond Sports, the parent company of Bally Sports, had filed for bankruptcy protection. However, last month it was announced that the company would be partnering with Amazon as part of a restructuring agreement. This agreement was approved by a Houston judge last Friday. With this new partnership in place, Bally Sports Southwest is able to continue providing coverage of the Texas Rangers’ games to their viewers.
