Pine unveils new summer sports leagues catering to adults.

Looking for a way to stay active and engaged this summer? Look no further than the Pine Parks and Recreation Department’s new sports leagues for adults! Starting in June, the department is offering leagues in soccer, softball, flag football, and sand volleyball for grown-ups. This is the first time the department has provided such programs for adults, creating an exciting opportunity for them to get involved in their community.

The department has partnered with Sports Monster Pittsburgh, a local branch of a well-established national company that specializes in organizing leagues, tournaments, and events. The co-ed program is open to athletes aged 19 and older, who can register either as a team or as individuals to be placed in teams. The schedule for each sport is as follows:

Soccer: Sundays from 6 to 9 p.m., June 9 to Aug. 18.

Softball: Mondays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. or Sundays from 9 a.m. to noon, June through August.

Flag football: Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, June 1 to Aug. 10.

Sand volleyball: Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, June 1 to Aug
