Limited Space Available for Eclipse Viewing at the Science Mill

The Science Mill in Johnson City is excited to offer limited admission for the April 8 total solar eclipse. Located near the path of totality, where the moon will completely block out the sun for about 4 minutes starting at 1:35 p.m., this museum is a prime location for an unforgettable viewing experience.

Each ticket includes regular museum admission for four people, four solar eclipse-viewing glasses, and a parking space in the west parking lot off of U.S. 290. However, parking is contingent on the weather and cannot be guaranteed except for inside the west parking lot.

Due to the expected popularity of the event, tickets are strictly limited and walk-ins are not permitted on April 8. To ensure a seamless experience, visitors are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance by visiting or calling 844-263-6405 or emailing

The Science Mill is located at 101 S. Lady Bird Lane and is committed to providing guests with an unforgettable viewing experience of one of nature’s most awe-inspiring events.
