On Saturday, the New Ipswich Library will be hosting a variety of vendors in its main room from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., in support of Small Business Saturday. Local businesses participating in the event include Lavender Wishes, The Silver Branch, and individual vendors. Additionally, the library’s merchandise will be available for purchase.
The raffle at the event is being held to raise funds for the library and features exciting items donated by various small businesses and individuals in the community. Prizes include 100 gallons of heating oil from Brideau Energy, which can be purchased for $10 each or four tickets for $30. Those who do not use heating oil can also purchase tickets on behalf of a family who could benefit from it. Tickets are available at the New Ipswich Library, and there will be an in-person drawing at Small Business Saturday. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to supporting the library.
In addition to Brideau Energy’s generous donation, other small businesses and individuals have also contributed raffle items to the event, including Forge and Vine of Groton, Mass., New Ipswich illustrator Matt Patterson, The Optimist Café of Peterborough, The Birchwood Inn of Temple, Mother Hubbard’s Ladle of New Ipswich, Agway of Peterborough, John’s Market of Greenville, The Window Shop at Monadnock Community Hospital, Silver Scone Teas of New Ipswich, and Twelve Pines of Peterborough. It’s inspiring to see how the community is coming together to support both the library and local businesses on Small Business Saturday.
