Boosting Our Economy: The Impact of Local Dive Retail on Driving Growth

Local Dive Retail is a unique store located on Cherokee Boulevard in Chattanooga. It offers a wide selection of mid-century furniture, retro housewares, clothes, shoes, and handmade items. The store’s owners, Andie Bost and Jack Tatum, both emphasize that all items are one-of-a-kind, affordable, and never collect dust. They rent out vendor booths to individuals who come in and set up their items, price them, and make the space their own. Customization includes framing, lighting, and everything is available for purchase.

The store is also part of the Northshore vintage market, which includes 25 vendors selling clothes and other items. Jack Tatum mentioned that they have independent vendors selling clothes at the store and restock new items every couple of months to keep customers interested. This setup allows the owners to make passive income while people shop in the store. The process of shopping for items to resell and seeing customers delighted by the products brings joy to the owners.

Local Dive Retail is conveniently located at 607 Cherokee Boulevard right behind the old Ziggy’s Bar. Their business hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m on Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m
