Chicago-based rEvolution Sports Marketing Group has recently launched a soccer-specific division called rEv United, in preparation for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America. The company has significant experience working with organizations such as MLS, FIFA, and Concacaf, and earlier this year became Ligue 1’s agency of record in the U.S.
Bruce Bundrant is heading up the rEv United division. Bundrant brings extensive experience to the table, having worked at Relevent Sports Group, AS Monaco, Liverpool, and DC United. The agency plans to make several hires focused on soccer for the new division.
The goal of rEvolution is to expand its business by serving both soccer properties and brands. Bundrant believes that with the current complexity of the soccer landscape, which includes numerous teams, leagues, tournaments and other entities, rEvolution can help brands navigate this environment effectively.
Marketing agencies are intensely competitive as they position themselves for brands looking to capitalize on the rare event of the 2026 World Cup. According to Bundrant, there is currently strong competition from both international and US agencies focusing on soccer-specific divisions.
Other notable moves have been made in the soccer marketing space this year with GMR Marketing launching a dedicated division called GMR FC and For Soccer Ventures acquiring Gilt Edge Soccer Marketing showing that companies are taking advantage of opportunities in this market.
