Rafael reports record-breaking sales in Defense sector

In 2023, the Israeli state defense concern Rafael reported a record-breaking financial report with sales of 14 billion shekels, an impressive increase of 21% from the previous year. The majority of their order portfolio came from foreign customers, with 57% originating from international sources and 43% from the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Additionally, Rafael recorded a net profit of NIS 588 million in 2023, representing a 17% increase compared to the year before.

One of the company’s largest deals was the sale of the David’s Sling missile defense system to Finland for 1.3 billion shekels. In addition to this major achievement, Rafael introduced several cutting-edge technologies over the past year. The world’s first interceptor missile for supersonic missiles, Sky Sonic, was unveiled by Rafael in 2023. Furthermore, significant advancements were made in the development of their Shield of Light laser missile defense system.
