The new branch of Visions Federal Credit Union is now open for business at 35 North 6th Street in downtown Reading, PA. Located on the ground floor of a historic building that was formerly Berks County Trust Company, the branch is being restored by Shuman Development Group to include apartments, a food court, offices, and retail space.
Branch Manager Lindsay Kennedy says that the location makes it convenient for those who live, work, or study downtown and for anyone supporting local businesses. The branch aims to be accessible, convenient and has a bilingual staff to serve the financial needs of more people in the community.
The branch features two private office spaces to support account transactions, a walk-up ATM, membership applications, loan services and free confidential financial counseling. Members will be able to speak with account representatives in English or Spanish. Its location makes it a convenient stop for students and those who are working, shopping, dining or visiting downtown Reading.
Visions is inviting the community to visit the new branch and learn more about their financial services and membership benefits. General hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and the ATM will be available 24/7.
