The PS5 version of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth debuted on PS5 and ranked third with 102,940 units sold, while the PS4 version came in at No.6 with 77,134 copies sold. Together, they would have comfortably taken the top spot.
Spider-Man 2 came in at No.4 with 98,157 units sold and a new entry Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island secured the fifth spot with 85,424 copies sold. Switch was the highest-selling hardware across three versions at 241,282 units, with the OLED model being the top seller. PS5 followed in second place with 185,480 units sold and Xbox came in at No.3 with 7,654 units sold.
In terms of physical game units sold during January from January 1 to January 28th of that year Nintendo held a significant market share of 34.1%, followed by Sega at 12.3% and Konami at 10.2%.
