Bahraini Foreign Minister Abd Al-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan recently met in Manama to discuss bilateral agenda issues. During their talks, both sides expressed a willingness to develop cooperation in various fields. The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the need for periodic consultations between the two foreign ministries, the formation of necessary legal frameworks, and the organization of joint events and high-level visits.
The promising directions of bilateral relations were discussed by Mirzoyan, including trade and economy, civil aviation, tourism, and information technologies. He also presented the “Crossroads of Peace” program developed by the Armenian government and expressed hope that it would be attractive for Middle Eastern countries like Bahrain.
The meeting also included discussions on the latest developments in the South Caucasus and the Middle East. Mirzoyan presented the current security situation in the South Caucasus and Armenia’s approach to establishing lasting peace and stability in the region.
