Robin Manke has been a lifelong resident of Menomonee Falls and her family has been part of the community for over a century. She owns Robin’s Nest, a store that sells current fashion with a focus on USA made garments. Her store has been in operation since 1982 and is located next to her dad’s shop, Dan’s Tog Shop, one of the oldest contiguous businesses in Menomonee Falls.
Over the years, Manke has made significant contributions to her community, including working with the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry and teaching Sunday school for 50 years. She is a humble individual but her friends and community recognize her dedication and commitment to making Menomonee Falls a better place.
Recently, businesses in Menomonee Falls have seen significant growth and the village has become a destination with art galleries, gift shops, improved parks, new restaurants and bars. Manke remains committed to maintaining a vibrant downtown area and plans to continue her work there.
Despite her lengthy community involvement, Manke has no current retirement plans and is eager to discuss upcoming festivals and events coming to downtown Menomonee Falls. If you want to tell Natalie about an Everyday Hero who deserves recognition, send an email at [email protected].
