CEO announced for local marketing technology firm

Nashville-based marketing technology firm, Marigold, has announced the appointment of Mike Gordon as CEO. Gordon previously held the position of CEO at ArisGlobal in Massachusetts and led Altus Group in Toronto. Despite being based in Boston, Gordon will be spending a significant amount of time in Nashville according to a Marigold spokesperson.

Gordon’s appointment comes as a replacement for Wellford Dillard who has served as CEO of Marigold for seven years. Dillard will now be taking on the role of CEO at Avid, a media and entertainment technology company based in Burlington, Massachusetts. In his statement, Gordon expressed his excitement to continue the progress already made at Marigold and to provide innovative marketing solutions that surpass the expectations of global brands.

The rebranded Marigold, formerly known as CM Group, currently has 100 employees in Nashville and consists of various companies including Campaign Monitor, Cheetah Digital, Emma in Nashville, Liveclicker, Sailthru, Selligent, and Vuture.
