Bango honors champions of Racine Elementary School’s Fresh Air Science Fair

Recently, Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine held a Fresh Air Science Fair that lasted almost two months. The fair began on February 1st, as students formed teams and submitted projects that brought concepts about clean air pollution to life. The entries were judged based on the quality of research, data analysis, and the creativity of their presentation.

The award assembly took place on Wednesday, March 27th, and was attended by Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango and the trampoline dunking team, the Rim Rockers. During the assembly, winners were announced and prizes were awarded. The first-place team members each received three tickets to the April 10th Bucks game against the Orlando Magic, along with transportation to and from the game and concession stand vouchers to use at Fiserv Forum during the game. Second and third-place teams received Bucks merchandise as their prizes.

The event was made possible through a partnership between Modine, the Milwaukee Bucks, Racine Unified School District, and United Way of Racine County. Congratulations to all of the winners of the Fresh Air Science Fair at Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine!
