In the latest edition of USA TODAY, Paul Myerberg takes a closer look at the US LBM Coaches Poll and makes a compelling argument for Washington to be placed in the number four spot. Meanwhile, in other news, Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis suffered a serious injury during a game against North Alabama last weekend. Despite being down 13-0 and with Travis out of action, the Seminoles managed to come back and win 58-13 with backup quarterbacks Tate Rodemaker and Brock Glenn stepping up.

Travis, who was saddened by the end of his college career on such an unfortunate note, expressed his gratitude to the fans who cheered for him from their hospital bed. Florida State head coach Mike Norvell expressed disappointment over Travis’ injury but provided no further updates on his status. The Seminoles will face off against in-state rival Florida next week.
