Krapina-Zagorje County Prefect Željko Kolar (56) and his wife, Mira Hrbud Kolar, recently welcomed their first grandchild. Their son Maks, a lawyer, and his wife welcomed a daughter into the world, making the couple proud grandparents. The news of the new addition to the family was met with congratulations from all corners.
Kolar and his wife have two successful children, Maks and Maja. Maks is a lawyer, while Maja is a doctor. Kolar has had an illustrious career in politics. He has served as mayor of Klanjec since 2009 and was elected to the Croatian Parliament in 2011. In addition to his role as Prefect of Krapina-Zagorje County, he also serves as vice president of the Parliamentary Committee for Environment and Nature Protection.
