The incident began around 9 p.m. at the store near Vineland Avenue and Sherman Way as employees were closing up shop. The thieves entered the store, grabbed merchandise and fled the scene.

While the suspects were not armed, the LAPD is treating the case as a grand theft. The police’s quick response and utilization of technology were key factors in resolving the situation swiftly. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of security measures in retail stores to prevent thefts and protect the well-being of staff and customers.

WSS issued a statement stating that they are cooperating with law enforcement and are committed to the safety and security of their customers and employees.
