On this day, exactly 60 years ago, American President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. The Kennedy family is known for their tragic history, filled with hard-to-explain events. Jack’s sister Rosemary suffered a terrible and inhumane lobotomy when she was only 25 years old and left completely immobile. Kathleen died two years later when her plane crashed in the French Alps at the age of 22. Older brother Joe also met an untimely end when he was killed in a war plane during World War II.

Tragedy continued to strike the Kennedy family as their brother Robert was killed in 1968 while campaigning for the presidency. In the years that followed, their children would also pass away. It’s a story that continues to haunt many Americans and raise questions about the fate of the Kennedy family.
