Registration for the Discounted Apartment lottery extended by the Ministry of Construction

The Ministry of Construction has announced that the deadline for registration for the next lottery drawing “Discounted Apartment” (Dira ba-anaha) has been extended until February 13. This means that those interested in purchasing one of the nearly 7,000 subsidized apartments in 16 localities across Israel will have an additional week to sign up.

The current round of the lottery began on December 26 and to date, over 100,000 people have registered. A total of 72 projects with 6,816 apartments are being awarded throughout the country.

In Eilat, two projects with 114 apartments are being played out, while in Elad, nine projects with 931 apartments are being awarded. In Ashkelon, there are eleven projects with 546 apartments being given away, while in Beit Dagan there is one project with 63 apartments.

In Bnei Aisha, six projects with 556 apartments are being given away, while in Jerusalem there is one project for 46 apartments. In Modiin, three projects with 187 apartments are being played out and two projects for 141 apartments are being awarded in Ma’alot Tarshiha.

In Petah Tikva, one project for 154 apartments is being played out and in Safed, one project for 41 apartments is being awarded. In Kiryat Gat, there are twenty-one projects for 2,666 apartments being given away and in Kiryat Malachi, there is one project for
