During a videoconference with the Foreign Ministers of the Twenty-seven, Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy, presented his defense on Monday. He expressed his belief that the best security option for Israel is the creation of the State of Palestine and stated that he will present a plan for the future of Gaza. Borrell explained that he drew this conclusion after multiple contacts in the region and believes that the creation of the State of Palestine is the best guarantee of security for Israel.

To advance towards this political conclusion, Borrell will commission the EU External Action Service to create a document with options for the future of Gaza. He hopes that
