Kylie Watson appointed as APAC security lead at DXC Technology

DXC Technology has appointed Kylie Watson as the new head of security for the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions. Based in Sydney, Watson will oversee security services across both regions, helping customers improve their cybersecurity posture through advisory and managed services.

Prior to her current role, Watson served as head of security for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), following a year as a cybersecurity and digital trust partner at PwC Australia. With over two decades of IT experience under her belt, Watson has worked with companies like SAP, Deloitte, HP, and IBM across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand.

Watson is described by DXC as a highly experienced and outcome-focused leader who is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization. DXC’s focus on expanding cybersecurity services is evident in Watson’s promotion to this key leadership position. As she leads the APAC and MEA regions forward in terms of cybersecurity services, Watson will play an important role in supporting customers across different industries and geographies.
