A protestor wearing clothing with the logo of political party LEF disrupted a debate on Dutch broadcaster NOS. He entered the stage during the discussion and shouted at politicians from VVD, NSC, and GroenLinks-PvdA, accusing them of belonging to “old politics.” He also told Dilan Yeşilgöz that her party should “never come to power again.”

The demonstrator was quickly removed by security from the temporary House of Representatives reception hall. Despite his continued shouting, the debate continued almost immediately. It is believed that Daniël van Duijn, leader of LEF, is responsible for this incident. Recent polls suggest that the new party has little chance and is attempting to gain attention through striking actions. Van Duijn recently disrupted a broadcast of Buitenhof by pasting a poster of his party on the window of the recording location.

The activist referred to Pieter Omtzigt as an “old fart” before turning his attention to Yeşilgöz. He accused Frans Timmermans (GL-PvdA) of handing over the Netherlands to capitalism. However, inquiries into the content show that this information is not accurate.
