Passenger Passes Away During Royal Caribbean’s 9-Month Ultimate World Cruise

A tragic incident has occurred on the Serenade of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean cruise ship that is currently sailing on its nine-month-long Ultimate World Cruise. According to Royal Caribbean, a passenger on board has died, and the company expressed its support and assistance to the deceased person’s loved ones. They have stated that they will not be providing further information at this time.

E! News has reached out to Royal Caribbean for their comment but has yet to receive a response. The initial report of the passenger’s death came from TikToker Adita, who shared the news in a video that she posted online. However, she later deleted the video after receiving criticism for posting sensitive information without permission. According to People, she mentioned that an elderly lady had passed away onboard the ship and that she witnessed her body being taken out.

The Serenade of the Seas set sail on its 274-night Ultimate World Cruise back in December, with tickets reportedly sold for $53,999. The cruise became a viral sensation as passengers shared their experiences and adventures online using various social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. Despite this tragic event, it’s important to note that accidents and incidents can happen anywhere, even on cruises, and it’s essential to remain vigilant and cautious while traveling.
