Collin Lee has recently been appointed as the Space Business Development Vice President at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC). This news was announced by Lee via LinkedIn on Tuesday. Prior to his new role, Lee worked as VP of Intelligence Systems at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) Mission Systems Business and was with the subsidiary for five years.

Lee began his career in business consulting, defense and intelligence after earning a bachelor’s degree in public administration from James Madison University. He later joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant before moving to Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) in 2003.

In May 2007, Lee became legislative liaison at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), where he stayed for more than four years before being appointed as director of legislative affairs at the National Security Council.

Lee started his term at GDMS as Director of Strategy and Business Development and was also named Director of the company’s Frontiers space technology incubator.
