Get ready to experience the holiday season in a festive way at the 4th Annual Hometown Christmas event in Brazil, Indiana. Hosted by Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, this event is taking place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and is part of Small Business Saturday.
Local businesses and vendors in Clay County are participating in this exciting event, offering special activities and promotions for attendees. The highlight of the day is a scavenger hunt that will take you to various businesses in the area. The winners of the scavenger hunt will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Brazil City Hall.
With over 30 participating locations and dozens of craft vendors, there’s plenty to see and do at this event. Pick up a paper passport at any of the participating locations, then visit each business to collect a Christmas stamp. Once you have stamps from at least 20 locations, you’ll be eligible for prizes.
In addition to the paper passport, Thrive West Central has created a Hometown Christmas layer in their Crossroads Trails App, which makes it easy for you to see all of the participating locations and plan out your day’s activities on your phone.
