AOC announced a new 27-inch monitor, the Q27G3XMN/BK, which combines MiniLED technologies, excellent performance, and targets gamers looking for HDR gaming at an affordable price. The monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified, one of the highest standards for HDR, which allows it to display deep black tones and the brightest points on the same screen. The Full Range Local Dimming (FALD) backlight solution enhances the HDR experience by allowing some parts of the screen to be completely black while keeping others at a very high brightness.
The monitor produces 1.07 billion colors with a color depth of 10 bits (8 bits + FRC), high color gamut coverage (+95% DCI-P3). It offers a 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response time. It also features an ergonomic stand that offers numerous options for height, tilt, rotation and adjustment, as well as Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue light to protect your eyes during prolonged gaming.
The Shadow Control option gives gamers an advantage by allowing them to adjust shadow levels and highlights to customize the visual experience of gaming and make it easier to see enemies hiding in dark corners. The monitor also supports Adaptive-Sync which allows it to use a variable refresh rate, eliminating tearing and stuttering caused by disproportionate frames. Additionally, Covering Sight (Dial Point) feature allows gamers to aim accurately in FPS gaming when sight is missing.
The OSD features of the monitor can be adjusted using either AOC G-Menu software or simply using the OSD buttons on the monitor itself. The Q27G3XMN/BK will arrive in November at a suggested retail price of €399.
