In the 2023 season, Krajicek and his partner Ivan Dodig secured the No. 1 spot on the ATP Doubles Rankings. This achievement came after they clinched a Grand Slam Title at the French Open at Roland Garros, a year after losing in the Paris title match in 2022. Krajicek, a Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame inductee, amassed 7,130 doubles points during the season, making him the top-ranked player in this category.

Krajicek and Dodig also claimed all five titles at or above the ATP 500 levels and reached the Semifinals of the U.S. Open in 2023. Krajicek made history as the first Aggie to finish a year as the top-ranked player in an ATP ranking. Additionally, he held the No. 1 ranking for 13 weeks during this season, including 10 consecutive weeks at the end of it. His performance earned him a point disparity of 740 over Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden who tied for third place, which is the largest since final rankings were established in 2019.
